We have varying levels of interest in volunteering - Cambodian students who
would like to get some part time work experience, PhD students from abroad
needing a base for studies over a 3+ month period to focus on one particular
issue and volunteers with work experience who want a break form their work
to offer 6+ months.
Volunteers can get involved in Teang Tnaut's work in one of a number of different
ways:
International Volunteers
- research students: Masters or Phd students looking for
a base in Cambodia with a local NGO involved in these issues. We can provide
contacts and links for research as well as a pool of students who can provide
translation and orientation skills.
- Palm Sugar projects: as promoted by the 'Stay Another Day' booklet Teang Tnaut is able to offer opportunities for volunteers to work directly with communities. For more information on this please contact Hallam Goad on hallam@camintel.com .
Local Volunteers
- 'Young Professionals' (YPs): mainly Cambodian and volunteers
from the SE Asian region who would like some experience in an NGO office
and have an interest in what STT is about. We have links with YPs in the
Philippines (TAO), Thailand (CASE) and Japan (CASE).

STT welcomes any contributions although we reserve the right to refuse support
from organisations that damage the environment or public health.
